    The president of the Host club and the Prince type. He is extremely passionate and kind, always ready to help people, and has an interest in many things. He is considered the most attractive of the hosts, very intelligent (2nd in his class behind Kyoya), and a gifted piano player. He is very sincere in what he says, and takes his role to please girls very seriously, which stems from his deep love of his mother. However, the other club members recognize him as an idiot most of the time because he is very dense about his own situations (though perceptive about others), very silly and melodramatic at times, and somewhat selfish and narcissistic. He also has an odd obsession for the "commoner’s lifestyle" and loves ramen and instant coffee (considered "commoner food"). He considers the Host Club to be a family and named himself father and Kyoya as the mother. His father is the superintendent of Ouran High School and his family is one of the wealthiest in Japan. His mother was forced to leave him so he would hopefully one day be recognized as the heir of the Suoh family by his grandmother, who does not like him. Tamaki is half-French and half-Japanese. He later discovers he possesses feelings for Haruhi that he is unable to decipher, still thinking them as family.

COMMENT:

    Despite the fact the Tamaki has a great wealth and power he doesn’t have the heart of a greedy and selfish person who hungers for riches and power. Instead, he has a warm heart and is never afraid to do unfamiliar things in his life – he’s bold. My expectations for Tamaki’s characteristics has failed me since the characters and traits of a powerful and wealthy person like him wouldn’t match his personality and I love that part of him. In addition, I never knew that rich people are funny too with their crazy mind on work. Also, Tamaki’s not bad to pair up with Haruhi as well.

    Rukawa Kaede is, in many ways, the opposite of Sakuragi - attractive to girls, skilled at basketball, and very cold and unfeeling. The only traits they share are that they are not academically inclined and good fighters. He regards Sakuragi as an idiot, and is not shy about calling him an idiot to his face - actually, he knows Sakuragi can put his talents to a better use, but is ashamed to see the immaturity with which he deals with things. His hobby is sleeping, and is usually seen asleep whenever he’s not on the court; he can even ride his bike while asleep often crashing with objects when doing so. Waking Rukawa from a nap is considered unforgivable, since he will almost automatically beat up the culprit. Unsurprisingly, he has also been in his fair share of off-court fights, but can hold his own. Rukawa’s goal is to be the best high school player in Japan, and he considers Sendoh of Ryonan to be his greatest rival.

 
    Rukawa is extremely good at basketball, and possesses a wide range of skills to complement his height, athleticism and drive to win. Despite being merely a first-year high school player, he is the undisputed ace of Shohoku’s team. In the Kanagawa Interhigh Tournament, he was named one of the top five players, the only first year player so honored. He has managed to change the course of many games, such as when he single-handedly brought Shohoku back from a double-digit deficit against Kainan. He even managed to continue in the game against Toyotama despite losing the vision in one eye due to an intentional foul and could take free throws with his eyes closed. However, his style was criticized as being too selfish, and he sometimes comes into conflict with his teammates for various reasons; this was one of the reasons why Coach Anzai refused to give him his blessing when Rukawa told him that he intended to go to the USA, and told him to become the best in Japan before he even thought of it. When he was outplayed by Sawakita during the match against Sannoh Technical, though, he realized that he had to change his style and pass the ball. It was his pass that led to Hanamichi’s buzzer-beating shot, winning the match. Rukawa is subsequently named a member of the All-Japan basketball team.

 
Family and background:
    There is not much known about Rukawa’s family. But as we look at his Nike outfit, Panasonic walkman and cool bike we get the idea that he’s from a quite wealthy family. He attended the Tomigaoka Junior High. He was the basketball team captain and was already a very well known player. Although Ryonan’s coach asked him to join the Ryonan Basketball Team, Rukawa chose for Shohoku. (Because it’s near his home…) He doesn’t have any close friends. Rukawa is extremely popular in his school, he has his own cheerleaders club, that started with three girls but grew out to a LOT. Besides, he also has a great fan called Ichiro Mizumasa who is still attending his Junior Highschool and has become the basketball team’s captain after Rukawa left. Ichiro’s biggest dream is to become national champion along with Rukawa. Unfortunately, Ichiro has a terrible injury on his knee, has to undergo surgery and won’t be able to play basketball anymore.

Personality:
    Rukawa is a very cool person and seems not to care about anything but basketball. His passion for basketball and sleeping are the only things he has in mind. He is kinda rude to most of the people he meets, but to the ladies he is less rude, just silent. He hates when people disturb him when he’s asleep, mostly he’ll beat those people up, even if those are teachers. Rukawa is definitely a person of action rather than words. When his team is behind, he’s always the person who steps up and takes over the game. A lot of people consider Rukawa as the most selfish person ever, but he doesn’t care about what others think about him. Rukawa is a confident and independent person for sure. He only has respect for people that are strong and capable, but those are also the people that he sees as rivals and wants to defeat very badly. He hates to lose and just can’t stand it.

    I was madly in love with Rukawa the first time he appeared on the show. Just by looking at him, it made me say “Yes! He’s my type of a guy!” It was funny to watch a cool looking guy having a serious face all the time sleeping on his desk in class hours with dripping saliva. He was so cute being like that. Rukawa isn’t just a talented basket ball player, and he always wants the best. He had this determination to win and is a perfectionist on his own. That’s why Sakuragi and Rukawa doesn’t go together too well.

    Ryota Miyagi is Sakuragi’s closest friend on the team. After an initial misunderstanding that caused conflict between them (he was fighting Mitsui when Sakuragi and Ayako came around, and he thought she was dating him), both found comradeship in the fact that they had both been unlucky in love, although Miyagi, having only been rejected 10 times, still falls short of Sakuragi’s record who was rejected 50 times. Like Sakuragi, Miyagi is motivated to play by his love for a girl: his best friend and classmate Ayako, the manager of the team, whom he refers to as "Aya-chan". He has been known to pose for Ayako during matches. Off-court, Miyagi has a reputation for being a bad boy. He was hospitalized for a while after his fight against Mitsui’s gang.

    Miyagi is small for a basketball player, but makes up for it with incredible speed, skills, and court awareness. His skills are typical of a point guard: strong passing and dribbling, as well as an understanding of the game that allows him to be a floor leader. He also shares a similar level of arrogance with Sakuragi, claiming to be the number one point guard in the prefecture, though popular opinion among characters in the series ranks him just behind Maki of Kainan and Fujima of Shoyo. In the series he is often pitted against taller point guards (Toyotama’s Daijiro Itakura, for example, spent nearly the whole match picking on his height as an attempt to sap his focus away) but he is able to beat them with his incredible speed. Miyagi becomes the captain of the team after Akagi and Kogure leave the team.

    I wouldn’t like Ryo-chan since he doesn’t suffice my “type of a guy” qualities. LOL. But I wouldn’t like him until he played on the game. I thought he wouldn’t be that much of a great player here, but I was proven wrong. Though he was the smallest from the team but he was the swiftest and the coolest especially when his piercing on the ears shines vividly. I don’t know why those 10 girls dumped Ryo-chan. If I were them, I would’ve said my sweetest “yes”. She’s really cute and cool. Ah! Another thing, he did sufficed one quality that I love – being a bad boy. I almost forgot the part where he had a fight with Mitsui’s gang.

    Son Goku (孫 悟空, Son Gokū, addressed only as Goku in most English adaptations) is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball universe created by Akira Toriyama as the main protagonist for the media franchise, which consists of a series of manga, anime, soundtracks, movies, television specials, a trading card game, video games, and other collectibles. Goku is introduced as an odd, monkey-tailed boy who practices martial arts and possesses superhuman strength. In Dragon Ball Z, he is actually revealed to be from a fictional race of extraterrestrials called Saiyans, said to be the strongest warriors within the fictional universe. Goku also starred in Dragon Ball GT and made a cameo in Toriyama’s self-parody series Neko Majin Z.

    Originally named Kakarotto (カカロット, Kakarotto, addressed as Kakarrot in English adaptations), Goku is born a member of a fictional race of extraterrestrials called Saiyans, born with a lowly power level of 2. Shortly following his birth, Goku is sent from his home, a fictional planet named Vegeta, to prepare Earth for sale on the intergalactic market by destroying all its life. Due to an injury to his head that caused him severe amnesia, Goku forgets his purpose, and instead focuses on becoming stronger for little more than the pleasure of it. Goku meets a highly intelligent 16-year-old teenage girl named Bulma, the desert bandit Yamcha, and two shapeshifters named Oolong and Pu-erh. As the series continues, most of the characters introduced are basic parodies of characters found in Journey to the West. He also encounters one his closest friends, Krillin, and others during his training.     Just like Trunks, I also fell in love with Son Goku. Yes, he is the strongest but also, he has the purest heart. Who wouldn’t fall in love with this kind of hero who never missed to think for the others first and doesn’t care about his self just to save the entire world. Son Goku is not only a hero to a million of people but a hero to his son as well. He’s the most responsible and loving dad of Gohan and Goten. It’s not only his sons get all his love but also with his supportive wife Chichi. And I wish I could get a share from them too. Lol.

Trunks (トランクス, Torankusu) is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball franchise created by Akira Toriyama. In the story, Trunks is Son Goten’s friend and the child of Bulma and Vegeta, the prince of a fictional race of extraterrestrials called Saiyans.

Trunks first appears in the Android Saga as an infant, where he is revealed to be the son of Bulma and Vegeta.

Years later in the Majin Buu Saga Trunks is shown to be able to transform into a Super Saiyan a transformation that was thought only to be attainable through intensive training of the body and emotions. He trains with his father, Vegeta for the Tenkaichi Budokai, a martial arts tournament that occurs every three to five years in the series. In the tournament, Trunks easily breezes through the kid’s division of the tournament, and defeats his friend, Son Goten in the finals.

After the tournament, Trunks and Goten watch as Vegeta fights the recently released Majin Buu. Trunks and Goten attempt to help Vegeta but are knocked out by Vegeta and taken away by Piccolo and Krillin as Vegeta sacrifices himself in an attempt to kill Buu. However, the effort is in vain as Buu regenerates while Vegeta dies from the aftershock of the attack.

In a desperate attempt to save the world from Buu, Son Goku teaches Goten and Trunks a technique that allows them to fuse into Gotenks. He uses his fusion with Goten to battle Buu several times, even attaining Super Saiyan 3. However, Gotenks was not powerful enough to defeat Buu and was absorbed. Trunks and Goten are rescued from Buu by Goku and Vegeta, but are killed when Kid Buu destroys the Earth. Trunks is later brought back to life by the Dragon Balls, along with the rest of Earth’s inhabitants, to give energy to Goku’s Genki Dama attack. The attack manages to destroy Buu and Trunks returns to a normal life on Earth.

In Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon, Trunks befriends Tapion, who gives Trunks a sword.

In Dragon Ball GT, Trunks, Goku and Pan, travel to various planets in search of the Black Star Dragon Balls. He also participates in battles against fictional supervillains such as the space parasite Babi, the artificial human Super 17 and the evil dragon, Yi Xing Long.

I fell in love with Trunks the first time I laid my eyes on him. Yes, I was in love. LOL. I’ve always wanted a silent-typed of a guy, mysterious and serious looking eyes. I don’t know if this kind of “my type of a guy” thing started from this character – Trunks. I’ve been supporting Trunks with all my might in every battles he encountered. I never missed a chance to shed a tear for him. LOL. I’ll be very emotional when it comes to Trunks; every time a tear falls down unto his face, I shed a tear for him too. HAHAHAHA. I’m still a very young girl at that time too. If normal little girls fall in love in their ‘boy next door’ guys, well then, maybe I’m crazy. Since all the boys that I fell in love with when I was a kid, isn’t even alive, just drawn on papers and with the help of computers, they are able to move – anime. Well, Trunks is one of them. Trunks is also one of the strongest characters in Dragon Ball Z, the fact that he is the only son of Vegeta (prince of the Saiyan) and not only he’s strong but also he inherited the intelligence of his mother Bulma (daughter of a great scientist).

    Sailor Mercury (セーラーマーキュリー, Sērā Mākyurī) is one of the central characters in the Sailor Moon metaseries. Her real name is Ami Mizuno (水野 亜美, Mizuno Ami, or Amy in the English versions), a genius schoolgirl who can transform into one of the series’ specialized heroines, the Sailor Senshi.

    Sailor Mercury is the first member of the Sailor Team to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the "brains" of the group. Her powers are associated with phases of water, and she can use her supercomputer to quickly analyze a foe in battle.

    Ami’s most-emphasized character trait is that she is enormously intelligent—in the anime and manga she is rumored by other characters to have an IQ of three hundred, while in the stage musicals this is stated as a fact. She is adept at English in both the musicals and the anime. Her peers view her with a mixture of awe and distaste, misinterpreting her inherent shyness as snobbery, and so she tends to have a difficult time making new friends. Ami is depicted as sweet, gentle, and loyal, as well as slightly insecure. Anne Allison describes her as "a smart girl who needs to relax", calling her "conscientious" and "studious", "everything Usagi is not". Early on in the story she relies heavily on the approval of her mother, teachers, and friends, but as the series progresses she becomes stronger and more confident in herself. COMMENT:

    Ami Mizuno is my favorite character in Sailor Moon series. I even wanted to be just like her – smart, shy and very well mannered. Unfortunately, it all turned out to be the opposite. Ami’s character is one of the ideal role model for children to be able to follow their dreams and achieve it with following such character. I’ve always wanted a shy-type kind of character since it all started from this character – Ami Mizuno.
